TOWN BOARD MEETING                                      TOWN OFFICE, LIMERICK, N.Y.

 

 

PRESENT:    Roll call of Board Members:

Supv. Richard D. Lane, Councilmen Ron Tepfenhart, Richard Dodge,

Albert Roberts, Jeff Timerman, Roy Gilchrist and Clerk June McCartin.

 

ABSENT:      No One

 

MINUTES:   Motion from Councilman Dodge to accept the April minutes as

received and Councilman Tepfenhart seconded the motion.  Agreed.

 

FINANCIAL

STATEMENT:  Not available

 

PUBLIC HEARINGS:  None

 

BIDS:              None

 

COMMUNICATIONS:

Incoming:  Letter from NYS Town Clerks Association recognizing

Kimberly Raymond, Deputy Town clerk, as having been awarded the

Association’s recertification as a Registered Municipal Clerk.  This

recognizes the professional competency of Kim Raymond, in fulfilling

the responsibilities of her office.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS:

  1. Glen Park Hydro

Councilman Tepfenhart motioned for resolution 1-5 to settle action

to review real property assessment challenge for premises owned

by Black River Hydro Electric, LLC., Parcel #73.82-1-36.

Councilman Dodge seconded the motion and upon roll call vote of

the Council was duly adopted as follows:

NEW BUSINESS:

  1. Councilman Roberts motioned to accept the Highlander Construction

low bid for alternate no. 1- HDPE watermains – Bid $3,947,162.05 and

Councilman Timerman seconded the motion. Agreed.  The electric will

be rebid.

Councilman Dodge motioned an amendment No. 7 which accounts for

the added contract, Contract No. 4 – tree removal; the design and

bidding of the CBS; as well as the efforts associated with rebidding

Contract No. 2 – Electrical.  Councilman Tepfenhart seconded the

motion. Agreed.

 

HIGHWAY SUPT.      Supt. Gilchrist reports plows removed and trucks ready for

summer work.  Some roadside picking up done.  New 2020

pickup has been delivered.

 

 

CLERK:                        Clerk report given for April 2020.  Councilman Tepfenhart

motioned acceptance of the reports and Councilman Timerman

seconded the motion.  Agreed.

 

COUNCILMEN:          Nothing

 

TOWN SUPERVISOR: 1. Armondo Orcesi is undergoing a project for an Eagle Scout

Project.  He will take on the “Stone Road Cemetery

Restoration”.  Much appreciated by the Town.

 

FLOOR:                      No comments

 

WATER,

GENERAL AND

HIGHWAY BILLS:   Board Members reviewed the payables.  Councilman Dodge

motioned to pay the General Bills ($73,388.04), the Highway

bills ($135,936.25) and the water bills ($21,646.21).  Councilman

Roberts seconded the motion.  Agreed.

 

ADJOURNMENT:    Councilman Tepfenhart motioned to adjourn at 5:14 PM and

Councilman Dodge seconded the motion.  The next town board

meeting has been scheduled for 5:00 PM on June 3, 2020.
