MINUTES: Motion from Councilman Timerman to accept the January minutes as
received and Councilman Tepfenhart seconded the motion. Agreed.
FINANCIAL
STATEMENT Received copy of November financial report. Acceptance motion by
Councilman Tepfenhart and second by Councilman Timerman.

COMMITTEE REPORTS:
- Planning Board Minutes for January
- Ron’s monthly land use reports
- Copy of transfer site tonnage of refuse and recyclables
- Monthly dog report not available
UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
1.Councilman Tepfenhart motioned for a resolution for the Town Board to
direct the Town Assessor to grant exemptions on the 2022 assessment
roll to all individuals who receive the exemption on the 2021 roll.
Councilman Pickett seconded the motion. Roll Call vote; Councilman
Pickett – yes, Councilman Timerman – yes, Councilman Tepfenhart- yes
and Supv. Lane – yes. Councilman Dodge absent. Carried.

NEW BUSINESS:
- Water district #2 has developed one or more leaks. Suspect the
rubber seals are not holding.
- Received letter for Atty. Joseph Russell that he has separated his
business from Barclay Damon Law Firm and will continue to
provide legal services to the Town. The Town Board decided to
continue with Atty. Russell for his services.
HIGHWAY SUPT. Supt. Gilchrist reports crew is plowing, trimming trees on CR59,
Also working on maintenance of summer equipment.
CLERK: Councilman Tepfenhart motioned to accept the January clerk
report and Councilman Timerman seconded the motion. Agreed.
Town of Clayton has invited Town of Brownville employees to a
training class which includes workplace violence and sexual
harassment, along with several others. The training is to be held
on April 19, 2022 in Town of Clayton.
COUNCILMEN: Nothing
TOWN SUPERVISOR:
- The Town Board offers James Gould the position of constable for
the Town at $20.00 per hour plus mileage.
- Received notice the equalization rate dropped to 86% from
100%.
WATER,
GENERAL AND
HIGHWAY BILLS: Board Members reviewed the payables. Councilman Tepfenhart
motioned to pay the General Bills ($132,986.23), the Highway
bills ($24,604.57) and the water bills ($2,416.72). Councilman
Pickett seconded the motion. Agreed.
ADJOURNMENT: Councilman Timerman motioned to adjourn at 5:21 PM and
Councilman Tepfenhart seconded the motion. The next town board
meeting has been scheduled for 5:00 PM on Mar. 2, 2022.
