PLANNING BOARD MEETING JAN. 3, 2022

PRESENT:   Ron McGregor, Mark Kellar, Norm Peckham, Mike Parks, Charles Petrus,

and June McCartin

 

Guests:         Jeff Timerman and Gerry Kostyk

 

ABSENT:    Tim Cerow and Tom Charlton

 

MINUTES:   Mark Kellar motioned approval of the minutes for Sept. 13, 2021 and Dec.

6, 2021 and Norm Peckham seconded the motion.  Agreed.

 

PUBLIC HEARING:  Chris and Dawn Bastien Subdivision – 2 lots – Maynard Ave.

The legal notice was read to open the hearing to the public at 5:02 PM.

Two people had interest in reviewing the map with Gerry Kostyk who was

representing the Bastiens for this project.  The hearing closed at 5:15 PM.

UNFINISHED

BUSINESS: 1. Bastien Subdivision

With fees paid and a complete application filed, Mark Kellar motioned

for a negative declaration and Charles Petrie seconded the motion.  Norm

Peckham motioned approval of the project and Charles Petrie seconded

the motion.  All agreed.

 

NEW BUSINESS:

  1.         William Quencer Subdivision – Star School  House Rd. – 5 lots

Application  reviewed and fees paid.  Mark Kellar motioned for a public

hearing for 5:00 pm on Feb. 7, 2022 and Norm Peckham seconded the

motion.  Agreed.

  1.   William Quencer application for a 2 lot subdivision off NYS RTe 12E

was briefly discussed and may be submitted for next meeting.

 

REPORTS:   1. Ron’s activity report for the month reviewed.

 

DISCUSSION: 1. Board Members agreed to meet at 4:30 PM on Monday, Jan. 10, 2022

to discuss and review Town of Brownville Zoning Codes.

 

ADJOURNMENT:

Norm Peckham motioned adjournment at 5:37 PM and Charles Petrie

seconded the motion.  Agreed.  Next regular meeting Feb. 7, 2022.
