MINUTES:   Motion from Councilman Dodge to accept the February minutes as

received and Councilman Tepfenhart seconded the motion.  Agreed.

 

FINANCIAL

STATEMENT:  Councilman Timerman motioned to accept the financial statements for

January 2023.  Councilman Dodge seconded the motion.  Agreed.

 

BIDS:             Received bids from John Dudley Construction $199,500.00 and

Continental Construction, LLC $275,919.00 for Contract No. 5 Chlorine

Booster Station.

 

COMMUNICATIONS:

Incoming: None

 

Outgoing:  Letter sent for Riverside Solar Project

 

COMMITTEE REPORTS:

  3.                       Copy of transfer site tonnage of refuse and recyclables

UNFINISHED BUSINESS:

  1. Casey Dickinson, BCA was present for update on WD #2.

Still working on Outwater Footbridge final details.

 

NEW BUSINESS:   On March 1, 2023 during our regular monthly meeting, The Town

Board adopted a resolution to award Contract No. 5 – Chlorine

Booster Station relating to the Water District #2 project to the

apparent low bidder, John R. Dudley, Inc. whose bid was

$199,500.00 ; and authorizing the Supervisor to execute the Notice

of Award and other related contract documents associated with

awarding the contract.  This authorization is contingent upon the

Supervisor’s receipt of appropriate concurrences from BCA

Architects and Engineers, legal counsel, and USDA Rural

Development.  Motioned by Councilman Timerman, seconded by

Councilman Dodge, with all agreeing.

 

HIGHWAY SUPT.

Crew working on plowing, picking up brush, water district

#1 meter change outs.  Replacing faded and damaged signs.

CLERK:              Councilman Pickett motioned to accept the Feb. clerk report.

Councilman Timerman seconded the motion. Agreed.

 

COUNCILMEN:        Nothing

 

TOWN SUPERVISOR:

  1. Christine Thurston, Town Assessor has given her notice she will

be resigning as of October 10th 2023.  In the works of looking for

replacement.

 

WATER,

GENERAL AND

HIGHWAY BILLS:   Board Members reviewed the payables.  Councilman Tepfenhart

motioned to pay the General Bills ($144,635.19), the Highway

bills ($44,045.53) water bills for WD #1 ($443.90).  Councilman

Dodge seconded the motion.  Agreed.

ADJOURNMENT:    Councilman Timerman motioned to adjourn at 5:21 PM and

Councilman Pickett seconded the motion.  The next town board

meeting has been scheduled for 5:00 PM April 5, 2023.
