MINUTES: Motion from Councilman Dodge to accept the May minutes as
received and Councilman Tepfenhart seconded the motion. Agreed.
FINANCIAL
STATEMENT: Councilman Tepfenhart motioned to accept the financial statements for
May 2023. Councilman Dodge seconded the motion. Agreed.
PUBLIC
HEARING: None
BIDS: None
COMMUNICATIONS:
Incoming: Memo from Jefferson County Planning. Declined renewal for
North Country Home Consortium for 2024-2026.
Councilman Dodge motioned to accept Town Zoning Law changes from
the Planning Board. Councilman Timerman seconded the motion. Agreed.
Outgoing: None
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
- Ron’s monthly land use reports
- Copy of transfer site tonnage of refuse and recyclables
- Monthly dog report not available
UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
- Casey Dickinson, BCA was present for update on WD #2. Working
on punch list and Chlorine Booster Station.
NEW BUSINESS: Bowers & Company conducted Audit of the court’s records for the
fiscal year ending in 2022.
The Town sent the records and resolution to State of New
York Unified Court System.
HIGHWAY SUPT. Working with Jefferson County replacing pipes on Co. Rte. 59.
Preparing O’Connor, Baldwin, and Miller roads for surface
treat. Informed Town Board Alan Savage will retire.

CLERK: Councilman Timerman motioned to accept the May 2023 clerk report.
Councilman Dodge seconded the motion. Agreed.
COUNCILMEN: None
TOWN SUPERVISOR: Received 2023 Equalization rate from NYS Department of
Taxation and Finance. Councilman Tepfenhart motioned to
accept applicant Rebecca Trudell as new Town Assessor.
Councilman Dodge seconded the motion. Agreed.
WATER,
GENERAL AND
HIGHWAY BILLS: Board Members reviewed the payables. Councilman Tepfenhart
motioned to pay the General Bills ($21,626.48), the Highway
bills ($139,132.06) water bills WD #1 ($1,116.92)
Councilman Dodge seconded the motion. Agreed.
FLOOR: Linda Wendell and committee on NY Citizens Audit.
ADJOURNMENT: Councilman Tepfenhart motioned to adjourn at 5:47 PM and
Councilman Dodge seconded the motion. The next Town Board
meeting has been scheduled for 5:00 PM July 5, 2023.
