MEETING MINUTES

PRESENT:   Roll call of Board Members:  Supv. Richard D. Lane, Councilman Jeff Timerman, Councilman Bill Pickett, Councilman Howard Ganter, Highway Superintendent Roy Gilchrist and Deputy Town Clerk Shiloh Schloop.

GUEST:       None

ABSENT:     Town Clerk Novina Green

MINUTES:   Motion from Councilman Ganter to accept the April 2026 clerk minutes as received and Councilman Timerman seconded the motion. Agreed

FINANCIAL STATEMENT:  Councilman Timerman motioned to accept the March 2026 financial report seconded by councilman Ganter. Agreed

COMMITTEE REPORTS:

1. Copy of transfer site tonnage of refuse and recyclables
2. Clerk Monthly Financial Report for March 2026
3. Planning Board minutes for April 2026

UNFINISHED BUSINESS:

1. Alex Morgia Grant for NYS PLAYS – after further review and research, Councilman Timerman motioned to decline seconded by Councilman Pickett.
2. Updated Resolution for Subdivision – after further review by the board members, Councilman dodge motioned to approve the resolution seconded by Councilman timerman and by roll call of a vote, all agreed.

NEW BUSINESS: None

HIGHWAY SUPT:  Highway Supt Roy Gilchrist updated board members with doing road work, replacing culverts and trimming. Stated he is still waiting on one more quote for the new truck.

CLERK:

1.Motion from Councilman Timerman to accept the April 2026 clerk financial report as received and Councilman dodge seconded the motion. Agreed

COMMUNICATIONS:

Incoming

1. Letter was received from Brownville/GlenPark Library requesting to be added to the Town’s 2027 budget. Councilman Timerman motioned to approve the request seconded by Councilman Dodge. Agreed
2. Letter was received from the Brownville Busy BG’s Seniors requesting payment to fund their activities for 2027. Councilman Ganter motion to approve the request seconded by Councilman Timerman.

Outgoing:

1. Notice of Violation Letter – mailed out to property owner of 23187 Timerman Rd, Dexter NY 13634

COUNCILMEN:        None.

TOWN SUPERVISOR:  None

WATER/GENERAL/HIGHWAY BILLS: Board members reviewed the payables, Councilman Ganter motioned to pay the General Bills ($51,189.05) the Highway Bills ($50,121.75) Water Bills WD#1 ($25,721.68) Water Bills WD#2 ($12,766.39) Councilman Dodge seconded the motion. Agreed.

ADJOURNMENT: Councilman Ganter motioned to adjourn at 5:20 PM and Councilman Dodge seconded the motion. The next Town board meeting has been scheduled for 5:00 PM June 3rd, 2026
