MEETING MINUTES                                                                                                          July 7th, 2025

 

 

I               ROLL CALL- Mark Kellar, Tom Charlton, Charles Petrus, Norman

Peckham, Mike Parks, Ron McGregor, Jason Crump and Shiloh Schloop

 

II             ABSENT- None

 

III            GUESTS- New York surveyor Paul Bragger, Town of Brownville Town Clerk Novina Green, Blue Sky Endeavors representative, Jack Raleigh, Susie O’Neil, Joe Chrisman, Hedy Starr, Arik Engstorm, Daniel Postal, Miranda Burgmeier, David Burgmeier,

 

IV            PUBLIC HEARING: Michael Parisian Parcel #80.00-1-32.211 2 lot subdivision hearing opened at 5:00PM New York surveyor Paul Bragger presented the board with larger maps, with no questions or comments, the hearing closed at 5:05PM Ron McGregor motion to close public hearing Charles Petrus seconded. Agreed.

 

PUBLIC HEARING: Blue Sky Endeavors Parcel# 63.00-2-6.1 2 lot subdivision hearing opened at 5:10pm, Resident questioned if the subdivision would be for solar farms Blue Sky Endeavors replied no it would not be used for a solar farm. With no further Questions or comments Charles Petrus motioned to close hearing at 5:10PM Norman Peckham seconded. Agreed.

 

V             MINUTES

  1. Mike Parks motioned to accept June 2025, minutes as received and Ron McGregor second agreed.

  1. Toms Report for the month of June 2025 reviewed.

IX            DISCUSSION – None

 

 

X             COURTESY OF THE FLOOR –

  1. Jack Raleigh had a stop order violation, presented the board with pictures of pergola, stating it is a movable structure and will be taken down during the winter months, so it is not permanent. Board members gave the ok to continue work.

 

  1. Miranda Burgmeier presented the board with lots she would like to purchase with both existing structures and wanted to be sure it would be ok to rebuild a home the same size and meet the setbacks.

 

  1. Hedy Starr and Arik Engstrom with North Country Canine presented the board with plans and layouts to possibly purchase property on 12E for dog training facilities.

 

ADJOURNMENT- Norman Peckham motioned to adjourn at 6:10PM and Jason Crump second, agreed. Next meeting is scheduled for August 4th, 2025, at 5:00 PM.
