MEETING MINUTES

PRESENT:   Roll call of Board Members:

Supv. Richard D. Lane, Councilman Jeff Timerman, Councilman Howard Ganter, Highway

Superintendent Roy Gilchrist, Town Clerk Novina Green

GUEST:       None

ABSENT:     Councilman Bill Pickett, Councilman Richard Dodge

 

MINUTES:   Motion from Councilman Ganter to accept the February 2026 clerk minutes as

received and Councilman Timerman seconded the motion. Agreed.

 

FINANCIAL

STATEMENT:  None

COMMITTEE REPORTS:

1. Copy of transfer site tonnage of refuse and recyclables
2. Clerk Monthly Financial Report for February 2026

 

UNFINISHED BUSINESS: None

NEW BUSINESS:

1. Review of Resolution for Water District #2 regarding subdivision
2. Cemetery help wanted – post on website and in office

 

HIGHWAY SUPT:  Highway have been busy with some plowing, maintenance on building and trucks,

Filling pot holes and trimming brush around signs.

CLERK:

1.Motion from Councilman Ganter to accept the February 2026 clerk financial report as received and Councilman Timerman seconded the motion. Agreed

2.Town Clerk requested to attend New York State Town Clerk Annual Conference with Deputy Clerk in April. Conference will run for 2 days, Monday through Tuesday and returning to work on Wednesday. Board members approved and requested to put up signs for town office to be closed on those 2 days.

 

COMMUNICATIONS:

Incoming

1. Letter from Village of Brownville for outside users – after further review, board members agreed to send response letter
2. Cemetery help wanted, post in website and office

COUNCILMEN:        None.

TOWN SUPERVISOR: None

 

WATER,

GENERAL AND

HIGHWAY BILLS:  Board Members reviewed the payables. Councilman Ganter motioned to

pay the General Bills ($91,235.88), the Highway bills ($41,712.04) Water bills WD

#1 ($579.03) WD #2 ($219.57 Councilman Timerman seconded the motion. Agreed.

ADJOURNMENT:    Councilman Timerman motioned to adjourn at 5:20 PM and Councilman

Ganter seconded the motion. The next Town Board meeting has been scheduled

for 5:00 PM April 1st , 2026.
