MINUTES: Motion from Councilman Dodge to accept the September 2025 clerk minutes as
received and Councilman Tepfenhart seconded. Agreed
FINANCIAL
STATEMENT: Motion from Councilman Timerman to accept the August 2025 financial statement
Seconded by Councilman Dodge. Agreed
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
- Copy of transfer site tonnage of refuse and recyclables
- Clerk Monthly Financial Report September 2025
- Dog Control Budget for 2026
- Planning Board Minutes 9/8/2025
UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
- Solar on Earth – Board members reviewed the email from Solar Specialist John Murray regarding the NY State Sun Program. This program will be applying solar dollar credits directly to the Towns National Grid bills. Board members agreed to schedule an in-person meeting with john to elaborate more on the program.
NEW BUSINESS: None
HIGHWAY SUPT:
- Highway Superintendent Roy Gilchrist provided an update for the Board. Highway guys completed the paving on 3 roads for the Town and now have been helping other Towns with their paving.
CLERK: 1. Motion from Councilman Timerman to accept the clerk financial report for September
2025 as received, and Councilman Dodge seconded the motion. Agreed.
COMMUNI
CATIONS: Letter from Edward Brown regarding biosolids.
TOWN SUPERVISOR:
- Town Supervisor presented the board members with information regarding the Act to Amend Real Property Tax Law for veterans.
- Letter from Jefferson County Economic Development regarding Renewable Incentive Proposals and Host Community Agreements.
- Town Supervisor scheduled a budget meeting with the board members on October 8th, 2025 at 9:30 AM
WATER,
GENERAL AND
HIGHWAY BILLS: Board Members reviewed the payables. Councilman Dodge motioned to
pay the General Bills ($29,061.02) the Highway bills ($336,687.84) Water bills WD
#1 ($95.76 WD #2 (99.00) Councilman Pickett seconded the motion. Agreed

THE FLOOR: Resident Randy McAvoy thanked the board for providing letter from the Lawyer in
Regards to questions from last month’s meeting. McAvoy questioned if the Town would
Be able to extend the water district and had mentioned his property across the road where
A waterline could be added. Supervisor Lane stated that the engineer and lawyer
Would need to get involved and that he would investigate it as well as setting up a time
And date for him and McAvoy to meet to draw something out to get a clearer picture.
ADJOURNMENT: Councilman Tepfenhart motioned to adjourn at 5:15 PM and Councilman Pickett
Seconded the motion. Next Town board meeting has been scheduled on
October 1st, 2025 at 5.00 PM.
