BUDGET HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the preliminary budget for the Town of Brownville for the fiscal year beginning Jan 1, 2026, has been completed and filed in the office of the town clerk at Limerick, NY where it is available for inspection during office hours.

Further notice is hereby given that the Town Board of the Town of Brownville will meet and review the Preliminary Budget on Nov 5th, 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Town Office , Limerick, NY.

At this hearing any person may be heard in favor or against the Preliminary Budget as compiled and for any item or items therein contained Pursuant to Section 112 of the Town Law.  The proposed salaries of the following Town Offices are hereby specified as follows:

Supervisor               –   $27,000.00

Councilmen (4)       –   $  4,000.00

Superintendent      –   $76,000.00

Clerk                        –   $37,500.00

Tax Collector          –   $ 9,450.00
